The On Call Express meter is intended to be used with On Call Express Blood Glucose Test Strips, only.

Do I need a prescription to purchase On Call Express meter or test strips?
On Call Express meter and test strips are available over the counter; no prescription is needed.

How do the On Call Express meter trend indicators work?
If “HI” appears on the display, the measured concentration value is above 600 mg/dl. The test should be retaken to ensure that no mistake was made in the procedure. If “LO” appears on the display, the measured concentration value is below 20 mg/dl. The test should be retaken to ensure that no mistake was made in the procedure. Refer to the On Call Express User Manual for more information and contact your physician as needed.
Can the On Call Express system be used on alternate site?
The forearm and palm areas have less nerve endings than the fingertip. For that reason, you may find that obtaining blood from these sites is less painful than from the fingertip. The procedure for forearm and palm sampling is different. You need the clear cap to draw blood from these sites. The clear cap is not adjustable for puncture depth. Refer to the On Call Express User Manual for more information.
Do I need to register the meter and how do I get warranty support?
You don’t need to register your meter for warranty coverage. You’re automatically eligible for the limited warranty. Just retain your proof of purchase. If you are experience problems with your meter, of you want support in the future, please call Customer Support 1-800-838-9502 (24/7).
Can I upload from On Call Express system into a data management system?
Yes, the meter is compatible with On Call Care Alliance – a free, web-based system which allows you to easily upload data from your meter to view, print and email easy-to-read reports. To download reading from your meter to On Call Care Alliance, you will need to use a universal micro USB cable. You can purchase a micro USB cable on Amazon.
